Please Note:  Substitute Teacher Requirement (per Michigan law):  Anyone working in a K-12 setting must pass a fingerprinting criminal history background check.  Also required, the submission of official undergraduate transcript from a four year accredited college or university showing 90+ semester credit hours and a minimum of a 2.0 G.P.A.

Student of the Month


Fowler High School's Student of the month for December is Hudson Phillips.

Hudson is a senior at FHS. He is involved in Cross-Country, Quiz bowl, Robotics, Band, Track, and National Honor Society. Hudson’s most prominent accomplishments in high school are receiving a 1290 on the SAT, Cross Team Co-Captain, been accepted into the honors college at both CMU and WMU, Drum Major, and Financial Manager for Yearbook.


Hudson's most influential staff member is Mr. Mowry, "he is funny, kind, and helps me get through the day, even when I'm in Calculus." 

Hudson is planning to earn an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer degree from either Central Michigan or Western Michigan University.

 

Congratulations Hudson!!

Today's  Announcements:

Juniors:  Please check your emails and sign up for the boys basketball concessions.

Tuesday December 17th, we will be recognizing our 2019 Girls Track state championship team as the halftime of the boys varsity game.  Come support your Back to Back state champion girls team!

Spring sports sign up are  out. Please make sure you sign up this week so we can make appropriate plans.

Renaissance will be having their candy cane drawing on Friday morning for the Renaissance students as they come into the building.  Stop at the table near the office and draw a candy cane for treats and/or cash prizes.

Attn Seniors:  Cap and Gown packets were given out yesterday.  If you did not receive yours you can pick one up in the office at lunch.  

Juniors:  There is a prom committee sign up in front of the office.  If you are interested in helping with set up and planning for prom stop by the office and sign up.

The boys and girls basketball teams are sponsoring a soup fundraiser on Monday, Dec 16 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the H.S.  A $6.00 donation would be appreciated.

There is a student council meeting today at lunch in Mr. Wilsons room.  Please bring your lunch.
