Please Note:  Substitute Teacher Requirement (per Michigan law):  Anyone working in a K-12 setting must pass a fingerprinting criminal history background check.  Also required, the submission of official undergraduate transcript from a four year accredited college or university showing 90+ semester credit hours and a minimum of a 2.0 G.P.A.

Student of the Month


Fowler High School's Student of the month for January is Sean Morse.

Sean is a senior at FHS. He is involved in the Marching Band, Robotics, Quiz Bowl, BPA, NHS, Student Council Senior class Vice-President, and Renaissance. Sean's most prominent accomplishments in high school are making the LCC President's List for 3 Semesters, awarded the Presidential Scholarship from Kettering University, Captain of the Robotics Team Jr. & Sr. years, cumulative 4.0 GPA, and Captian of Quiz Bowl Team JV & Varsity years, earning the hightest District score Sophomore year and 3rd highest District score Senior year.


Sean's s most influential staff member is Mr. Roorda, "he is a very kind and compassionate teacher. Mr. Roorda has shown me how to be patient, persevere through hard challenges, and to always look for the good in things."  

Sean plans to attend Kettering University to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on robotics and automation.

  Today's Announcements:

All BPA members:  There will be a group picture taken in the gym today at 11:55.  

Seniors-This is the last week to pick your class t-shirts up in the office.  

Anyone interested in playing Intramural Pinball the sign up is on the table in front of the office.  Teams must consist of 3 boys and 3 girls.

Boys  track weight room workouts will start on Thursday at 3:30 and every M/TH after that at 3:30 until the season starts

Hum213 make up face to face is next Saturday, Feb 1 from 9-11.

A reminder to BPA students going to States, Turn your permission slips in to Mrs. Hughey by the end of the day TODAY.
