Seniors are encouraged to make applications to the college or trade school of their choice by Thanksgiving vacation. This enables the student to see their options and make informed decisions about a future career. Seniors should continue to fill out scholarship applications and searching for all forms of financial aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be completed by the student and parent/guardian during January and February. The FAFSA is due in the processors hands by March 1 to be eligible for state aid. The high school Counselor's, the financial aid person at the college of choice, and the federal aid program, at 1-800-433-3243, will assist in completing the FAFSA.
