Mr. Ernst has been the athletic director since the 2010-2011 school year. He grew up in Central Lake and attended Alma College for his degree in secondary education history. He was the head football coach at East Jordan for three years. He then spent the last four years at Ft. Myers, Florida coaching and teaching before accepting the position at Fowler High School. In addition to his athletic duties, Mr. Ernst is also the Assistant Principal at Fowler High School.
