Student of the Month

Congratulations to Rebecca Smith on being selected as Fowler High School’s Student of the Month for September 2023.
Rebecca was selected by her teachers for being highly motivated, detail oriented, selfless and compassionate. She is the drum major of the high school band and has a great commitment to the school teams that she is a member of. Rebecca participates in Cross Country, Basketball, Track, Band, DECA, Student Council, NHS, and SADD.
Her accomplishments include receiving 1 at Solo & Ensemble for 3 years, the Eagle Spirit Award for Cross Country, Renaissance, CMAC Honorable Mention for Track, 2x Regional Champion Track team, 2x Regional Champion for Basketball, and 2022 Basketball State Champ.
When asked who is her most influential staff member, Rebecca replied: “Mrs. Lewis because she is supportive in & out of the classroom. She always wants to see people do their best and she is one of the sweetest people that I know. She is a great role model to look up to.”
Rebecca plans to attend Lake Superior State University or Michigan State University to study Environmental Science.
Congratulations Rebecca!
