Fowler Public Schools Community,
My name is Patrick O’Rourke, and I am excited to serve as the Fowler Superintendent and High School Principal, starting on July 1, 2023. Throughout my career, I have had various leadership opportunities, including as a Principal, and most recently Central Office Administrator, while at Potterville Public Schools. In the past I have also had the privilege of serving as a teacher during my time at both Carson City-Crystal Public Schools, and Portland Public Schools
I am a proud CMU Chippewa having earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University, as a Major in Social Studies, and Minor in Mathematics. I also continued my time as a Chippewa, earning my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
Becoming the Superintendent/HS Principal of Fowler Public Schools is truly a dream come true. Being able to come home and give back to the community that has done so much for me has always been my goal. This is truly what I have been called to do, and cannot wait to get started.
Growing up in Fowler, I understand what an amazing community we have. Currently, I reside in Fowler with my wife Kelly, and our three children Grayson, Levi, and Hailey. I am so proud to know that my own children will be lucky enough to grow up in the same community that has already given me so much. There is, and will always be, something special about being a Fowler Eagle.
Over the course of the last couple of months, I have been blessed to have time to transition with the staff, Mr. Horak, and Mr. Hufnagel. Being able to connect with the team before my official start date has been very impactful for me. This time has been vital for my understanding of the district. There are so many amazing opportunities that Fowler provides for our students. I am very excited to be able to continue the tradition of excellence that has been established. I will work hard to collaborate with all of the great people that continue to make Fowler the thriving community that it is today.
I firmly believe in having open lines of communication with all stakeholders. The door to my office will always be open to the entire community. In the meantime, if anyone wants to reach out to me, my cell phone number is 989-640-4128, and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I could not be more proud to come home, and be able to be a part of such a special community!
